American Metal Market 2013 Steel Service Center of The Year Finalist

American Metal Market (AMM) has named MidWest Materials a finalist in the Steel Service Center of the Year category of its fourth annual Awards for Steel Excellence program.
Commenting on the selection, Mary Connors, Global Sales Director of AMM, and sister publications Metal Bulletin and Steel First noted that this year’s award program drew a record number of nominations. “It is a great achievement to be named a finalist,” she stated.

MidWest Materials announced the completion of a multi-million dollar technology, equipment and facility investment project that will enable the company to remain competitive worldwide and to retain and create more jobs in Northeast Ohio. The announcement was part of MidWest Materials’ 60th Anniversary Celebration, which honored the company founders and set a strategic focus for the steel service center as it enters a new era in the industry.
